290 Ambassador

1989 - 1992

Its almost impossible to improve near perfection, but Sealine has done it - with the 290

The 290's predecessor was a difficult act to follow as it set a benchmark for this most popular size of sports cruiser.

The 290 has achieved that improvement; her stunning good looks have brought her into the Nineties, making comparable boats look old-fashioned.

The interior of the 290 is an exceptional example of what can be achieved with extra thought and without compromising standards. The cockpit area can seat eight with ease. Six can dine at the generous cockpit table which converts to a large, self-indulgent area for avid sun worshippers.

Whether you're in Poole or Palma, the boat seems to bristle with useful features. The electric winch takes the strain out of finding a secluded bay. The cockpit shower is so refreshing after a dip. The electronic log and echo sounder make for safer navigation. The electric trim tabs enhance the 290's exceptional sea-going qualities.

In addition to the extensive list of standard items, Sealine has always insisted on safety at sea, hence twin fuel tanks which give peace of mind to the most ambitious cruising party.

The design brief for the 290 was difficult, but at Sealine we think she has won her case. Conclusively.
