305 Statesman

305 Statesman

1986 - 1989

The 30 was designed to give the owner great pride in his boat through striking lines whilst combining practical requirements covering performance, spaciousness and maintenance. At the design stage consideration was given to finding a balance between these attributes and as a result, the 30 became a firm favourite in the U.K. and Europe. With over 65 built, even used examples are very much sought after. Not content to sit on their laurels, the Sealine design team decided to make the 30 even beter - hence the 305 Statesman.

With today's modern engines producing even more power with less weight, it was felt that certain hull modifications could use this additional performance to enhance the sea keeping qualities, allowing the owner to get the most out of th boat's versatile design - ensuring ultimate safety and comfort at sea in all conditions. Other modifications were included like the clever cockpit door and moulded fender baskets - first introduced on the exceptionally successful 285 Ambassador altogether these features make the 305 Statesman the undisputed leader in her class. Attention was then turned to the interior. Demand dictated that prospective owners are individual - boasting a spacious double cabin forward with ensuite toilet and shower - a masterpiece of design in 30 foot and a further endorsement of Sealine's desire to offer the finest example of British boat building available.
